March 2026 Newsletter

Dear friends,

I won’t lie to you. At the moment my heart is breaking. The escalating violence in our world deliberately enacted by those in power cuts deep. Sometimes I wonder if what I’m doing is enough.

I want to share a few things I’ve been reminding myself of lately. Firstly, that more aware, loving people in our world mean more possibilities for us to realise collective healing and liberation. Secondly, that there are tried and true ways of getting free from delusion and its grip on us. And thirdly, that we can’t do it alone.

The Radical Embrace is here to support us to get free together, for our own benefit and the benefit of all beings. We hope you’ll join us in realising this collective vision through one of our many upcoming offerings.

March 27th we’re offering a brand new day-long workshop - Arrows to Flowers - an invitation to develop a more trauma-informed approach to your meditation practice.

April 7th we launch a new Earth-touching Tuesdays course - Sensitive to Feelings - an exploration of the feeling tone of experience and the familiar habits that both get in the way of a more creative response to life AND offer us a way towards greater freedom.

April 24th we’re hosting another Part I: Trauma-informed Dharma Teaching workshop - for Order members and Mitras holding space within Triratna. What some have said about these popular workshops:

“When there is difficulty in Sangha, I have greater understanding of how I and people become triggered and hopefully respond kindly.”

“It has given me some awareness of how people may experience a teaching environment differently and to hopefully have some empathy with this. The community agreement is a useful tool.”

May 8th - 15th Balajit and I are leading a week-long residential meditation intensive retreat - Doorways to the Deep. A rare opportunity to give your practice a depth-charge towards greater presence and availability to yourself, others and the world.

September 28th we start our six month course - I am because we are. Deepen your personal and collective practice at the intersection of Dharma, embodiment, and social and environmental justice. What past participants have said:

“The course gave me a way of marrying my Dharma practice with my political life.”

“I have more confidence in myself, I am more open to others and I feel more resourced to turn towards the suffering in the world.”

“This course has developed a deeper felt trust in my practice that I've not had before and this has also spilled out into my daily life.”

I hope to practice with you at one or more of these events soon.

With love and in solidarity,

Singhashri
